Matches Disappearing From Observer Mode
Noticed this a couple days ago for the first time, but thought it was just me confusing matches then. However, I saw it happening today again. I observed the ladder match between SpNv and HaND on Warrior's Isle. Since I got a phonecall during it, I missed how it ended. So I wanted to start it again, only to find it no longer listed.
The next match I watched was SpNv against mkay, also on Warrior's Isle. Not that the match was worth watching it twice, but even if I wanted to, it was gone too. Wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't looking for it. But the 3rd match of the day (SpNv-mAT on Frozen) did stay on the list That lead me to the theory that it was Warrior's Isle causing it. To test said theory, I watched the SpNv-Destroyer of Souls (some 1000+ rank guild), but that one stayed on the list. Although that one didn't go to VoD. So does anyone have any idea what is causing this?
[EDIT]Oh yes, after looking a bit more careful, I realized the 1vs1 matches are missing. And the tournament GvG (and I guess 1vs1 too) are not showing either. There is currently a tournament going and I checked, there are top 100 guilds playing. But not showing on OB.

The reason they are missing is because the matches from the 2008 RAWR Cup are taking up all of the observer mode space. I think there is a limit to the amount of matches that can be on the list.

That doesn't explain why the match played before the one I watched and the one after it are still listed. But it might explain the tournament matches being missing currently.

AT games cannot be displayed due to the special events, yeah.
i noticed a lot of observer mode bugs today, too. my games didn't disappear (at least not that i really noticed), but instead, the games that were being played were SO MESSED UP. spnv-mkay ran fine for about 14 minutes, then it seemed like everyone lagged out, people died next to their monks not casting anything to degen only, nobody casts things, wars ran in circles spamming frenzy, ran against walls spamming frenzy after being baserezzed..it seems the rawrcup totally screwed up obs mode.

This has happened a couple of times in the past. For about a week or so, obs replays were completely messed up and didn't convey what really happened. Eventually, it was fixed, and code was added to automatically remove broken games from obs.
The problem's started up again, but now the games are disappearing once GW discovers that they're broken.
At least, that's what I'm remembering.

And you come to talk bullshit when you don't any RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing clue on what is happening (AGAIN!).
I have encountered this many times since obs mode existed. It is kinda frustrating when guildies say "obs that and that match" and they don't exist anymore in the list, and as already said, there still are some older games existing in the list.

Ive had games go off observer aswel, usually recent games at the top of the list, sometimes they just vanish after a re-zone.

From what I understand if an observer game gets bugged and isn't going to play back properly, it's removed from the list on obs mode.

Well no, because sometimes you CAN observe "bad" games. It's simply server space saving. I mean, Anet should start thinking about cutting down server costs, and all bits help... (Start by cutting down observers, districs, etc etc...)
As for wrong games, I still find it pretty funny that some games are flawed, I really would LOVE to see the Observer code. (Like, it saves all the clicks/keystrokes, but what about lagg, etc...)
